Easy Equities good or bad?

If you are going to make some moves then buying, not selling, is the right way to go.

Agreed there will be a crash so either buy the dip on quality companies or short any shaky companies still not sure if you can short on any local platforms ?

Will wait a bit still, but Im thinking of buying some Satrix 40 today or tomorrow. Its currently at R71.50 and Ill wait a bit more, maybe R68...

Just got an email for "Confirmation of your transaction" for a purchase. Guess I had a standing purchase order for below X amount nvidia stocks.
Went to check online to see what happened to nvidia, and if it's another system glitch - and I'm not seeing that the world collapsed, so guessing an EE problem...
Wonder what happens now.

They did a stock split. Every 1 share became 10 shares hence the 90% price reduction per share.

Did anyone ever get EE USD dividends to automatically re-invest? My kids' account defaults is to reinvest and I also set every share to automatically re-invest dividends. But, for 3 years in a row, this simply does not happen at all. It simply ends up in the cash portion and you need to reinvest manually.

Off topic but I was told that my kids under 18 cannot move ZAR to USD, is that the same with you unless your kids are older than 18.

Both my children are over 18 already and both their accounts have been converted to adult accounts on EE. After selling and selling off and moving their TFSA funds to Interactive Brokers some 3 years ago, both left some money in EE and transferred it into their Dollar accounts on EE, which both, by the way had to request to be activated even after their accounts were converted to adult accounts. Neither of their accounts automatically re-invest USD dividends, irrelevant of the settings in their profile (account default) or shares itself.

Why sell out of the TFSA?

They want all their money in USD offshore with IB in a couple of ETFs. Also pay their monthly contributions to IB via Wise for the past few years.
Makes no sense to withdraw from a TFSA, unless of course you are on pension

I would have advised against drawing down and out if the TFSA.

It was done some years ago. Nonetheless, one already emigrated and settled abroad. The other started working abroad this year. My question was just if anyone could get EE to reinvest USD dividends, because it seems it does not work.
