Easy Equities good or bad?

Has anyone been able to transfer funds from the capitec app to ee yet?
I gave up trying via the EE widget. Eventually did it through EFT like in the old days. Still have the 2 accounts setup as beneficiaries. Took about 24 hrs to appear in the EE account.

Anyone else having an issue with biometric login on EE app on Android?

Shows "Log in with biometrics" and thumbprint sign, and "Login with username and password" red block, but doesn't throw up the actual thumbprint scanner to login.
Working fine again.

Must have been one update that a newbie deleted one line of "useless" code.

Any other Capitec clients here having issues to fund their EE account via the Capitec widget in the Capitec app?

EDIT: Cant do EFT either. When I try and add it from Bank Registered beneficiaries it says a error occurred

Yeah, it's an issue they are trying to fix supposedly.

Try it again as a new beneficiary rather than bank registered.

I eventually got them added in the Capitec app under registered beneficiaries, did an EFT and it went through in a two days.
But I got that same error on my first try. Haven't tried the widget again.

Knowing nothing about your goals...

MCSI World or S&P500 leave it as is for as long as possible, ideally the TFSA should be the last account you chip into as you retire.
Long term investment for the kids.
Noted and thank you.

I'd say also look at the MSCI ACWI, S&P Global 1200 and FTSE Global All Cap.

They are all big and broad and have decently low costs.

None of that is financial advice, I barely graduated from university.

I'm looking to get into ETF's to put in my TFSA. I'm planning to split between S&P500 and a dividend tracking ETF. Sygnia Itrix S&P 500 and 10X Divi Trax are the current front runners. I'm also interested in a property ETF or Reit at some point - it actually looks like the 10X SA property income is cheaper and has performed better than the Divi Trax.

Wondering what people's thoughts are on the above. Also on how many different ETF's for different asset classesversus picking a small number of ETF's and dollar cost averaging.

This is not financial advice. I barely graduated from university, don't listen to me.

I'd look at the FNB S&P 500 ETF, it is projected to have a lower TER than the Sygnia one, but it only launched in 2024.

Guys,

Is there report or something to see the total value of dividends paid to me this year, or in a given month or something?

Now I see they made a mistake on the Satrix Dividends for today! My ohhhh my! Are we working here with rookies ?
