Probably the worst ISP out there. (I'm using the "service provider" part loosely)
I have been with these guys for the last year, and were getting constant problems with connection that drops, and very low speeds. Even YouTube videos would buffer at the lowest speeds (166p I think).
I've been complaining about the problem over and over, but all it get is excuses, and the connection stays slow.
These guys have notoriously poor service, and I'm glad I left.
Think twice before joining this ISP.

Based in Bellville. Website has been under construction for almost a decade. If anyone ever consider using them, think twice. No peer to peer support. And this is the least of the issues.

Yea I agree Comic Sans the way they use it... Geez this country needs a association that develops standards and ensure companies like ECC and OpenWeb can't exist.

ECC perhaps just a warning and then guidance.

Openweb, prosecution and then shut then down.

ECC is such a joke but still they have been around for years, don't know how they keep on going.

I have reconfigured a few of their ex-clients (mostly Kraaifontein) routers to be used with CTWUG.

ecc is actually the best value for money internet company cape town has ever seen that's why they have been around for over a decade
y is it the best? 24/7 uncapped internet not shaped not pared no fair use policy
2mb line R200 4mb R400 etc. no one can beat that or even come close
1yr = 2400just can't b beaten, people having problems with ecc simply just doesn't really know how to use the net, been with ecc for over 10yrs & my internet didn't cost me a mortage

Hi ECC SYSTEMS are they "alive?" I am a customer but they dont answer emails or phonecalls. The landline does not exist. the cel phone dont even go over to voicemail anymore. I need assistance urgent but no sound. Can a provider be that bad? i must pay them but from his side Andries just dont give a dam. Tbe new compang... Marble something also has no contact details.

What can I do?
