Econet looks at mobile virtual network operator

"Although MVNOs are not allowed in South Africa, Virgin Mobile, Autopage and Nashua Mobile technically operate as MVNOs, despite being called service providers."

I am sorry.... but who ever wrote this article didnt do their homework. Virgin is very much a MVNO! And please explain to me how Nashua or Autopage could be "an MVNO" because to be an MVNO you actually need to be a mobile operator / Telco (even though you another telco's actual network) with a prefix that is assigned to your network, eg: 074 for Virgin Mobile... Last time i checked Nashua and Autopage were merely service providers who resell Vodacom, MTN, Cell C and Virgin products and manage those telcos clients!

Just a thought unless I have completely misunderstood what was written!
