EDGE settings

Simons Town now has EDGE ( Thank u MTN ) Do I now have to change my cell phone settings from GPRS to EDGE or my PC settings?
My cellphone shows EDGE but I still have a Desktop Icon " MTN GPRS "

You don't need any special settings to use EDGE.. if your phone supports it and it's available, it'll just use it automatically.
