So far my kit has never been down to the beeping though, with a 40W load for maybe 10 instances of 2 hours of loadshedding, and on occasion me leaving it discharged once a month for about 8 hours at most, with it not dropping below 50% on the display. So maybe 20 instances disconnected with medium load.Aging batteries pose a challenge when setting the float charge voltage because each cell has its own unique condition. Connected in a string, all cells receive the same charge current and controlling individual cell voltages as each reaches full capacity is almost impossible. Weak cells may go into overcharge while strong cells remain in a starved state. A float current that is too high for the faded cell might sulfate the strong neighbor due to undercharge.

Yup that is how I lost a lot of LA batteries :-( though the stage 4 in May the lithiums didn't even feel it.Yeah meant last year,my batteries were crying

Ahhh I see where the confusion came in:That it doesn't have the lithium charging option?
The MUST inverter does have a charge cycle that caters to the Lithium batteries + built in MPPT so maybe save up a bit of dosh and get 2 Lithiums + 2 solar panels.
I think what Geewiz means is not to let it run until the inverter starts beeping from low battery but to just unplug it from the wall with a load attached for a couple of mins to allow the acid to circulate a bit and then plug it back in??Geewiz has a not saying that
So if this is the expert advice coming from their team moving possibly thousands of these kits, do you experts here disagree and to what degree? No snark intended.
- If there is no load shedding, after a few weeks, the acid will start to sulphate on the top of the battery, so please do the following : Once every 1-2 months, please unplug the inverter from the wall and let it run until the inverter starts beeping, then immediately plug it back in. This will circulate the acid and will tremendously increase the cycle life of your batteries.
