Eishkom Inverter setup dilemma

Stage4 - 6 with it's 3x outages a day and not enough charge time at 5amps,lead no happy

I have the 24V MUST 3Kva version -> will double check the model number when I get home later and post a pic here. Not sure what your question is related to the model?

The only small reprieve is the fact that it's only 2 sessions as the morning ones are being negated for now.
 
Yep from my Mecer inverter kit, I notice that OP is on a different setup with AGM but noticed he mentioned
I discharged them every month, to give the batteries a proper charge-discharge cycle

Aging batteries pose a challenge when setting the float charge voltage because each cell has its own unique condition. Connected in a string, all cells receive the same charge current and controlling individual cell voltages as each reaches full capacity is almost impossible. Weak cells may go into overcharge while strong cells remain in a starved state. A float current that is too high for the faded cell might sulfate the strong neighbor due to undercharge.

So far my kit has never been down to the beeping though, with a 40W load for maybe 10 instances of 2 hours of loadshedding, and on occasion me leaving it discharged once a month for about 8 hours at most, with it not dropping below 50% on the display. So maybe 20 instances disconnected with medium load.

I mean that could have saved the LA's a bit and would have lasted more than 6 months.

You should never leave a LA battery discharged.

Doubt it, City power gave them more than enough time at the beginning of the year to charge and discharge. We also had fluctuations.

It definitely has a LiFePO charge setting hence my comment to just get the Lithium batteries as the inverter has the 4-stage charge cycle for em :)

I think what Geewiz means is not to let it run until the inverter starts beeping from low battery but to just unplug it from the wall with a load attached for a couple of mins to allow the acid to circulate a bit and then plug it back in??

I would still use CUSTOM setting.

I will make my next cup of coffee extra strong, I am usually extra sharp on a Friday morning, especially on pay day.
