I cant believe Barcelona were so rampant against Real Madrid. Messi does things that no other player in the world would dare even try.

A great boost for the team going into Wednesday's clash. Im sure some of the guys must be feeling it now, with all these tough matches after each other.

Barca has played:

Sevilla - 4 - 0
Valencia - 2 - 2
Chelsea - 0 - 0
Real Madrid 2 - 6 :D :D :D

Chelsea???

But as Pep says - fatigue is all in the mind. I think Barca has shown the world that they are the most entertaining side in world football. The style in which they kill off their opponents is something football fans around the world can rejoice to. They are simply a joy to watch. Watching them play is like watching a movie.

From what I saw in that video, to put it bluntly, Barca's defense is useless. They just stand around and wach their opponents.

Like the Real Madrid header goal, they were all standing there watching him jump up and head it in.
 
LoL - that is a bit of a statement to call their defence useless. Their defence is great.

Puyol, Pique - same partnership for Spain

Alves - Brazil

Abidal - France
 
Just commenting on what I saw. Yes 4 great defenders, but what I saw was them just watching as Real scored both goals.

Don't know about other matches but in that match, they didn't impress me.
 
lol you didnt even watch the match, you watched goal highlights yet you able to make a judgement on their defence in the game.For all you know they could have prevented a 100 goals.

So true man. Goals are normally due to defensive errors, so to brand the defence useless is a bit of a statement.

Puyol and Alves will walk into any team in the world.

Alves is currently the best right back in the world.

I am so impressed with Pique this season. He had a bit of a wobbly start but he has really impressed for a big part of the season.

Goal.com scored him a 9.5 yesterday.

Hmm seems like you back tracking on your words... first you say defenders aren't rated highly because it takes strikers/midfielders to break the defence of any team... now you saying goals come from mistakes in defenders... so the 100 goals barca score were all mistakes from defenders and not strikers/midfielders creating this opportunity?

Does this mean if a defence doesn't make a mistake, no goal will be conceeded in the match?

Doesn't this make defenders the most valuable players on the pitch?

When it comes to set pieces or corners - goals are generally down to poor marking (defensive errors)

You should really watch more Barcelona matches to see how an attacking team can make a defence crumble.

Goals win macthes. If defenders can score buckets of goals, then they can be considered the most valuable players on the pitch.

it's almost like how everyone thought liverpool was all that after thashing United and Real... but Barca is doing a damn good job!

Are you implying that the real Madrid side that hadn’t lost in the league since the previous el clasico was out of form?

Real Madrid has picked up more points than any other team in the top 3 leagues. They are in form and many were predicting a Real Madrid win cos of their home advantage.

But dont pay attention to mercurial dude, im convinced he only starting watching football 3 years ago.

Name any of the top 4 in the EPL. They will all beat Real. Real are not the team they once were. They have fallen from grace since Vicente Del Bosque was sacked.
 
It amazes me at the levels of stupidity and wild statements that fly around here.
