Elden Ring is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game, directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, was made in collaboration with fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, who provided material for the game's setting.

Nothing new by now, but who is going to start dying next month? I'm probably going to get my copy via ebucks in the next few days...

Hah, noted. I NEVER and I mean NEVER pre-order games. But having finished every souls game / Demons' soul, Sekeiro and Bloodborne, I have faith in my pre-order

Steam can refund and a lot faster unlike GoG, but EGS is the quickest.

I hope so, and I am sure the game will be good given its pedigree, but shilling is at a new time high. I am really peeved by product ambassadors nowadays, all script touched up with personality.

Hidetaka Miyazaki though, Japanese direction at its pinnacle. Then, again, I am hardly ever disappointed by a Japanese made game, but not when it is 'outsourced'. Miyazaki though, he made soulslike an art, others have a hard time to copy.

I will be surprised if this turns out to be another CP2077/BF2042 launch title...

It'll be the first one I play at launch too.

I don't normally get games at launch but it's FromSoftware! Um except I didn't actually finish Sekiro. Loved the other games though.

Ordinarily I'd agree, but considering its a From game and the beta reviews were solid it's a safe bet.
