Elden Ring

Also... F___ those stone goblins/imps and f___ those 2 lobsters. I'll rather walk the lake of rot than do those sewers again. At least got my talisman after the Leyndel catacombs
The gobs are rather easy once you start using a shield / snipe on them. Their attacks bounce of from a medium shield afaik. Otherwise I just run around and away from them as it isn't really worth it to engage.

I eventually noticed you can lock on and throw knives, half of them will fall down. They more irritating and you end up falling. Also 2 lobsters Melee wasnt fun either

The lobs you have few options

1. Kill of them away from the other
2. Take out your balls and kill both of them at the same time
3. Set DBN-Looter mode and ignore them while taking the goods

But that area is one of my least favorites.

Yeah. Not hard in a fun way. Feels like they were just being mean when they do areas like this lol.

Btw for the bleed setup I ran

1. 2x ROBs
2. Godskin peeler
3. Mog's spear
4. Ekzykes's Decay / Agheel's Flame for nuking

And alternatively the spear naginata with bloodhound step as my move stick. I ended up going into an arcane, faith and dex with this backed up by vigor and enough endurance to wear the scale set + silver tear helmet (arcane boost).

I haven't replayed a game since Gears of War that I got all achievements. Was considering doing this again. But I'm also dusting my PS4 and getting bloodborne

I thought I would do some NG+'s until I get all the achievements but I've been playing the game for so long now that I will have to stop to play some other games too. Will probably come back for NG+ after a couple of months.

Ha, I just did that yesterday. I have the utmost contempt for those goblins but I find that blunt weapons work best on them. The lobsters I ran past and grabbed the loot, died a few times but I got them smithing stones.

Screw them man. I wasn't gonna run past them. I aggro one at a time then after a few deaths I dodge rolled under them and spammed rivers

Damn man, I don't have rivers yet, using the bloodhound but after dying so many times in that area I got gatvol and just ran past them to grab the loot. Had to make a few runs to get all the loot with those lobsters sniping me.

/dbn-looter style wins

I had a chuckle seeing the practice of stat sticks does play part in elden ring. Contextually they come from path of exile. To give an example you would have Lusat's Glintstone Staff in your main hand while Carian Glintblade Staff in your off-hand for that extra percentage damage. Of course you are casting from your main whereas the off-hand just a stat stick.
