Electrical Question: 32amp vs 63amp 'Smart' Breakers for 2x Geysers

I have 2x traditional geysers, both having I believe a 3kw element. I currently have only one on a 'dumb' timer and I want to upgrade to have both on these smart wifi breakers that allow scheduling but also integration with Google allowing voice commands etc.

I am basically 100% on solar, with a 12kw inverter and have more than enough power throughout the day, and no issue to run both geysers on the same schedule, ie. both on between 2 and 4pm for example.

Can I have both geysers connect into one 63amp smart breaker, and is it safe?
Or do they need to be on separate 32amp smart breakers?

A quick google search shows that technically it is possible but I am not convinced it is safe or compliant.

I notice that the 63amp breakers seem to be generally cheaper than the 32amp breakers, maybe because of higher demand for 32?
Any recommendations for a good smart breaker for this purpose?
 
I'd say it should be fine but remember you need to size the wiring for 63 amps, which is pretty hefty and difficult to work with as a DIY.

Definitely consult a qualified sparky though and preferably get them to do the work and certify it, else your insurance will probably not pay out any claims.

Like said above the breaker is there to prevent the wire melting and catching fire. I doubt your geysers wiring is 63a so check the wiring and go with that.
 
Note, these smart breakers will sit behind your normal breakers. So their job is to switch on and off, not to trip etc like the usual breaker does
 
Personally I'd get two. That way you can turn them on or off individually, if needed.
 
I'm not a SANS10142-1 expert, but technically there would be no risk if you put the 63Abreaker upstream of the existing 2x dumb breakers. then you just need 63A rated wiring between the 63A breaker and each of the existing (assumed 20A breakers). So in your DB, earth leakage output to 63A smart breaker input. then 63A smart breaker output goes to each of the existing 2x geyser breakers.

Again, re the disclaimer, best to get a qualified electrician to advise and install (may need a new CoC too). I believe 10mm2 wiring will suffice for 63A between the smart breaker and geyser breakers but again, your electrician should confirm this.
