Electricity demand outstrips supply until Friday

The ANC promised free electricity in order to get the votes! What is the ANC saying about this?
Now the people are not paying for electricity.
Soweto alone ows Eskom R 8 billion rand!
This is 8 thousand million !!!!
What about the other places?

What is Eskom doing about the electricity theft?
Why is it common knowledge in the townships that the installers of the prepaid electricity meters are charging a @#%Q@%% lowsy R50 to bypass the meter????
Why are we paying for their electricity????
Why Eskom why ? ? ? ? ?

Well technically it's supposed to end at 10pm tonight and no load shedding has yet been announced for tomorrow. Although that will inevitably change, the announcement usually comes during the day, so your lights should stay on :)

See this is the issue with fixed rather than rotational load shedding, early morning=low demand so you'll never get shed.

Unlike me whose office and home are in the same block and go off from 10-14.30, nevermind Sandton which goes off from 16-18.30 gridlocking the entire area everyday.

Eskom need to come up with a rotational schedule of permanent Stage 1 shedding until they can catch up on the maintenance and to switch those ****ing turbines off. Scrambling to keep the lights on now with short term fixes is going to make everything worse.

Yip, and our beloved cANCer exacerbated the situation by telling Eksdom to keep the lights on during the elections!!! Gotta love their deceitful ways...
