Electricity penalties here July 1

i hope you get a cramp u a-hole.if it wasn't for the fact i need electricity in my daily life if would tell you to go shove it.

what quota? How are they going to charge me? Last time they said they need smart meters to do this, and that would take a year to implement.

So WTF?????

HAY ERVIN,

How about you havea chat with those guys in SARS and give me a tax brake to finance my own solar power plant. It will only cost 120k, hell ill even take that over 2 years. If you do that I'll gladly get off the Eskom grid for good I promise. :)

Oh and Ervin peace of advise, given your apparent lack of IQ.
Don't think outside the box, find it first!!!!!

Peace out.

So how will this quota work? Will it be the same for 1 person living on his own and a family of 5 living in one house?

What if you have a family of 8? 10? Will the quota work per person in the house or per house?

Undoubtedly they will dream up some utterly moronic method of implementation.

Forget about the quotas - they have as much chance working as does Erwin's tiny brain.
The electricity dept can't even get your bill right, they can't even find competent people to answer the phone, and they will find competent people to read your bill ?

There's only 2 ways they can do it - either install smart meters - another non starter, or implement software to compare your electricity consumption month on month to say your average for the last 2 years.

Anyone remember the last brilliant piece of Software the govt implemented ? Enatis ? That wonderful buggy piece of C.rap took them a few years and loads of bribes to implement, and crashed on day 1...............

I think that Erwin is just talking to hear the sound of his voice..............

I have a solution to our energy problems!

They should install huge fans in the vicinity of each and every Minister when they open their mouths to capture all the hot air. There would be more than enough hot air to generate capacity to run Gauteng thereby decreasing the load on Eskom by quite a margin and dispense with the need to hike prices at all.

Well, at least they will then be reading meters. Hopefully the same day of the month at that. Here they vary reading by a week at times - which = 20% variation.

It would really be interesting to see how this will be implemented. And the people getting their free bit - how can they still give away something that is in short supply?

This guy (erwin) deserves the prick of the century award:mad:

Gas turbines - not very economical. Except middle east of course. Good for peak demand though - they can start up from off to full tilt in a matter of minutes.

You left out the third and most likely option - Erwin makes up figures, quotes uncheckable sources in so doing. Then, later, when soft and warm encompasses cooling device, says, under oath, that he never said anything in the first place ....

It seems the government is intent on tanking the SA economy.

Perhaps when you attack someone else's IQ, you should take care to make as few grammatical and typographical errors as possible.

If Mbeki was any good he would have fired Alec Erwin a long time ago. These bunch of retards are desroying this country.
