Well Mancienne deserves a shot with a bigger team to show whether he still has the ability that made him so popular in the first place. As for the long term loans - I think it will be best for Bruma seeing as we have 4 great CBs now. Not so sure about Kakuta though as I don't think the German league would be best for him - we should see if we can get him sent to Bolton like Danny sturridge or a team like Bolton where they'd actively develop him. The other possibility is to give him more first team appearances until January to see if he's ready to take the step up, if not then loan him out! Interesting to see what approach Chelsea takes as things in the transfer market don't seem to be going 100% for us. Personally we'd be OK if we get a winger, CAM, backup keeper and RB this transfer window. Too many CFs :( Though still not sure what Roman has planned :o
 
Anelka is going, Luk.aku or Neymar will be bought and hopefully a RB (though I'd stick with Ivanovic to be honest, but there's bias right there). CAM --> develop what we have. No point in buying if we want our youth to stay.

Agree with that mostly but Wagner Ribero, Neymars agent just intensely denied that he's be moving in the summer - don't know whats his problem as it seemed like he was def gonna come! Seems like the ****er wants the full transfer fee to be paid! As for Lukaku - if he comes which I very much want at some point but not now - there will be too many CFs for a 4-3-3 setup. Torres, Drogba and Lukaku will all be vying for the same position. It will also hamper Sturridges path to the first team, the boy has talent and should be given the chance and he can play as a RF/LF. The ability to create something from midfield is lacking at Chelsea which is why we need a CAM - Josh is too young to play full time. Other than him there is no one else to develop - Ramires is a box to box mid which is where we should keep him, he will be our next Essien. RWB lets hope Vd Wiel comes so we have an attacking WB as I think Bos is going! Brana is fit and strong - extremely good as a defensive RB, one of the best around even though its not his natural position but in terms of pace, crossing and cutting in - Vd Wiel would be better at it in the games where we need it! The reason I say that Chelseas plans are unclear is because in the last few days things have changed with some of our targets and new names have come up like Modric etc. We just going to have to wait to see what happens with Chelsea :(

Bull****. We should put our ****ing money where our mouthes are. Josh has shown that he can play with the big boys and he is not afraid. the only way he can get the experience of playing premiership games is by actually playing them. Best quote concerning this (don't know who said it though) "If he's good enough, he's old enough". He's good enough, klaar.

Agreed. He seems like the type of player to take a game by the horns. Only problem is that he needs to bulk up slightly, but I'm sure they're working on that.

Point is, Giggs was a wiry little fecker when he was starting out. Let JMac get first team experience while bulking up and he'll be awesome a year or two from now. Let him rot in the reserves or on load and what have we done? It's not like we lack experienced players. We have those. Now we need an injection of enthusiasm from the youth.
 
Looks like Barca is really after Rossi... I think it'll be a career ending move if he does go to Barca all he will do is sit on the bench with Bojan

Johan Elmander Bolton Wanderers -> Galatasaray Free

This guy did quite well for Bolton this season its strange not to see Bolton resign him

Galatasaray are going through sort of a mini revolution! They've got a new chairman who supposedly wants to invest 100 million euros in the club as soon as possible. So they're obviously offering bumper contracts to players! They've built a new stadium, which looks awesome and they broke the record for the loudest crowd! Plus they want Didier Drogba apparently! I know this because we got a bunch of turks that have invaded our Chelsea forums - its like Age of empires or something!

Liverpool's approach for midfielder rebuffed by Sunderland


Skysports.com can confirm that Sunderland have rebuffed an approach from Liverpool for midfielder Jordan Henderson.

Manchester United and Manchester City had both been keeping close tabs on the England international.

But Liverpool have suddenly made a surprise move for the talented young midfielder, who can play out wide or in the middle.

Kenny Dalglish is clearly looking to invest heavily this summer and Henderson has emerged as one of his top targets.

It is understood the Anfield outfit's initial interest would have seen them willing to pay £13million, but Sunderland have rebuffed their advances.

The Wearside outfit, though, may be willing to do business at a much bigger price - £20milllion plus - as they have their own midfield targets.

Skysports.com understands one of those is Manchester United's Darron Gibson, and Steve Bruce is ready to approach his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson over his availability and also that of defender Wes Brown.

That Pastore bid is rubbish imho. It's just some press cooked up by the Chairman of Palermo to get a bidding war going. Remember last year he said that both Kjaer and Cavani were going to Tottenham? Anyway, apart from that it's been rubbished by quite a few sources.

Luk.aku on the other hand has said he wants to finish up his deal before his exams start. What you fail to mention is he will go to one of the top three in England or stay another year in Belgium.

LOL thats what I was thinking when these guys started to invade our forums and post all their turkish nonsense! They want to start the Russo-Turkish war again!!

Anyway the Pastore bid is complete rubbish apparently since the radio station that was supposed to have conducted the interview, Cadena Ser, show no evidence of it taking place! Either way I don't want Pastore especially not at the price that Palermo are expecting for him! As for Romelu I think it either comes down to whether we meet Anderlechts asking price or not, if we do then the boy will sign by monday else he'll stay a year and then prob request a transfer!

Interesting. Considering the key players being linked away from AV, Fulham looks a stronger team next season. He must have been promised a nice packet of cash to spend.
