We've signed others but put them on season long loan.

Thibaut Courtois. He's gone to Atletico to replace De Gea (on a two year stretch I think). If he cements his first team position, which he is likely to do (otherwise we would not have sold loaned him to them) then we will have a ready made replacement for Cech should he dip in form, get (yet another) serious injury over the next two years. Seriously highly thought of kid.

Well Chelsea didn't get Modric, at least Meireles came in... Haven't seen him play much, is he a play maker or what? How good was he last season?

He is usefull when not injured . Keeps possession well and able to distribute accurately... Better hope his collar problem is the last of his injury woes...

He ****s (edit: pulls) out of tackles though. Makes wearing shin pads like a broken pencil......pointless. He'll fit right in there at Chelsea....
