Epson has revealed its Home Cinema LS100 ultra short-throw laser projector, which can project a 120-inch image onto a wall a few inches away.

Rather import the Xiaomi for half the money and it does much more.

$2000 buys you an Optoma UHD60 that does 4K and supports HDR. A whole lot more for less money and only requires mounting.

And HiSense's Laser "TV" will probably make even more sense as it comes with the screen and speakers and everything.
