Erasmusrand ADSL Problems

My line has been running well at about 1,92Mbps for the past 4 years.
Only problems have been the last 4 months while Telkom has been upgrading the cables. I made a mistake - I disconnected my router while I went away for 2 weeks at a time and on both occasions they must have tested the copper and decided that there was an unused line and gave my line away. Usually back on line in 4 days and then complained about quality of both voice and data speeds. Takes about another week to get speeds up to flat line.

More problems in Erasmus Rand. I have been on and off since November and have almost made the decision to go the LTE route since the new service was introduces late last year in our area.
I have also convinced both neighbours as all 3 of our lines have been down for more than a week.
