Error Code 1720 on Vodacom 3g E220

Hi All

Does any body know how to fix error code 1720 when installing a vodacom 3g data card for the E220 modem.

I have installed the latest windows installer pack but every time I try to install the Vodacom 3g card from Hauwe I get the error 1720

I have done this but it still does not seem to help, I have installed the current version on installer 4.5 but it still seems to be an issue with the Vodacom installation

I suggest re-installing windows.

What version of VMCLite are you running on your E220?

Also try installing VMC 9.4.4. If you get the same issue with this setup re-installing Windows would be your best bet.

What version Windows are you even using? 2000, XP, Vista, 7?

Not a lot of info here ...

Did you have a previous installation of VMC? There might be some files leftover which did not uninstall properly. (ie. she's broken.) Download a later version of VMC (I suggest 9.4.) and run it. It should pick up the older version and prompt to uninstall it. Click yes. I had the same error a while back and this sorted me out.

If this is not the case though, please post some more details.
