Eskom should create a schedule which blacks out designated areas for a 24 hour period on a regular weekly basis, whether they are at stage 1 or not.

By so doing they will be able to save resources and the rest of the country will be able to plan their lives.

I have experienced that... was without power for 4 days due to a cable fault.
By day 2 I borrowed an inverter and used that to run the office and essential items
