Eskom calls off load shedding

It's weird how they can just quickly make a (social) media statement and think what they have decided is acceptable. They could form a new political party because they've got the whole country by the electrical b@ll$.

Let's just hope that their "supply" will be able to keep up with the "demand" when all the major businesses return to their normal operations after the holidays.

Every time I read/hear the words "just quickly" I smile. The people in England was always pissed off by us 'impatient' Afrikaans people. :D
 
So much for them callling off load shedding. We were without power from 9 to 11 again this morning.
 
Growing tired of a company that makes 2 or more conflicting press statements per day. Really?

Eskom I don't care anymore. If the electricity is on, I use it. If it is off, I save it.

Eskom should create a schedule which blacks out designated areas for a 24 hour period on a regular weekly basis, whether they are at stage 1 or not.

By so doing they will be able to save resources and the rest of the country will be able to plan their lives.

I bought the generator on Friday...
