Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter's impressive performance

The same guy who started loadshedding everyone?

I do get what you are saying though and I need to draw you attention to the fact that not holding Soweto residents accountable for their failure to pay for electricity was always a political thing, it had nothing to do with Eskom, the difference between De Ruyter and the previous CEOs in regard to Soweto and many other things is that De Ruyter has a fully supportive government behind him, it's a luxury that those who came before him never enjoyed.
He must still toe the party line. If he had carte blanche a massive reduction in head count would have started. Eskom needs this.

He must toe the government line and it's clear that the government lie he is toeing is much better than the one toed by his predecessors, he is in a position of privilege as far as Eskom CEOs are concerned.

Really? The previous ones had carte blanche to rob and steal from us. Some even tried to give themselves R20 million retirement bonuses.

Previous Eskom CEOs had paradise of cash and loot available to them.

Ted Blom dropped bombs yesterday on The Burning platform. Seems everything we are hearing about Eskom is a complete farce.

Are you guys crazy ? We are now on load shedding stage 4, something Zuma squashed do you remember that. There was load shedding and he, Zuma declared there will not be any load shedding and boom load shedding. You must be employed because us who run businesses it’s killing us. For you the employee it’s “free” for us it’s money being lost but yey he has don’t a great job.
@TheChamp please stop making smurf accounts.

What can possibly make you think I am running a business? I have a front thing called a job, I go there every weekday, sleep all day, occasionally wake up to post on MyBb and get my salary every month.
Ah we found an Eskom worker..

That is indeed true, thanks :)
