Unless the 3rd unknown candidate is on the same or better level as Andy....

If they appoint Jacob Maroga, then I will have to start the Solar journey in earnest because Eskom will never be fixed with him at the helm.
 
So long as the government continues to have communist ideologues dictate to the board of the company, they could have the best CEO in the world has head and it will still go to $hit.

The ANC always does exactly the opposite of the sensible thing. It appears to be in their genes.
 
It is probably taking so long because they want to appoint Andy but can't get it past the black nationalists and BMF types. Got to agree with konfab, it don't matter who you appoint if you're just going to then gag and tie their hands behind their back.

I would assume someone like Andy would put in some very strict anti-interference clauses into the contract....

Eskom is in deep sht dragging the whole country down with it, like an infected limb, it doesn't matter who the best person is for the job, he should get it. I couldn't care less if it was the orange American menace, as long as that person can get us out of this hole.

Selfish people still pushes their own agendas, they should be tried for treason.

Problem is ANC first and country a distant last with lots of alliance partners, hyenas, other hangers on in the middle. It is what is crippling any attempt to sort out any of the problems we're facing as a country. The ANC is divided, all for own selfish reasons. The unions and more socialist types in the alliance are also opposed to the medicine prescribed to cure the ills.
 
He will resign within 6 to 9 months. No ways he takes orders from a bunch of old communists. He doesn't need that ****. See what happened to Vuyani Jirana at SAA. Private sector okes don't take kak from Gov.

These politicians have no concept of time! It will probably be like the etollie announcement. Eh, an announcement will be made within two weeks, fu*k, I am already sixty and we are still waiting for the etollie announcement. How many transport ministers does ot take to change an etollie? :D
