I bought a proline 1000kva a little while ago. Managed to get NUT working with it. If you're interested I can check the config (drivers, etc.) That worked with it. Was for a zoneminder unintuitive server installation

How budget conscious? I got one of these http://www.wootware.co.za/apc-bx650ci-za-back-ups-650-va-230-v-with-avr.html. Gives me about 10 minutes for all my server stuff to shutdown gracefully.

Thanks. Also what you would recommend for someone who wants to keep adsl modem/router running for at least 2 - 3 hrs?
