Eskom load shedding already in effect: analyst

Electricity analyst Chris Yelland says that Eskom is already operating on a form of load shedding which will be exacerbated during winter.

Will the S**T hit the fan this winter? Would be interesting. I would like to know sooner rather than later so I can get a generator of sufficient size if need be.

I am not going to get a Genny. But you can go and get yours. Our friends at medupi is 365 days behind. If they were up to date, 1 turbine would have turning already.

I thing load shedding is a given this winter.

Only problem, I got a 220Volt gate motor.
