A co-worker of mine lives in Panorama in Cape Town right next door to the hospital and he says he has never once had load shedding

Pretty sure they (the hospital) have load shedding there, might not be stage 1/2, but they definitely do get.

It bloody does but I suspect it wasn't set up properly. Will have to take a look, but it's raining here for the first time in weeks so I will leave it for the weekend.

Eskom stage 2 load-shedding implemented

Eskom has announced that stage 2 load-shedding will be implemented from 17:00 this afternoon, Wednesday 10 March 2021.

Load-shedding will last until 23:00 on Friday night and may continue over the weekend, the power utility said.
