Eskom started Friday blackouts

South African power utility Eskom said it would implement rolling blackouts on Friday and into the weekend as the electricity grid continues to be constrained.

Is this the new South African version of black Friday?

I have tried to figure out the Tshwane schedule. Can't make head or tails out of the codes......

Is there an exact list somewhere that actually says 3A will be friday and so on?

Soon there won't be any schedules, they will just randomly switch off daily. And soon the candles and matches business will be profitable.

I really wish there was something we could do with these monkeys, it's been 6 years and they've done sweet buggerall.

Seems that electricity is Apartheid's fault. They are trying their best to get rid of it.

Nothing can be done except maybe a coup

Power just went out here at exactly 2pm.. F U Eishkom.
I cannot run a small business under these conditions

Noooooo, power off again. Already had 4 hours of loadshedding this morning :(

We always get hit in the evening, every time :(

Meanwhile, City Power and the City of Johannesburg said customers should visit their websites to confirm the rolling blackout schedule, and have torches and lanterns at hand to light up their homes.

“Have candles and other alternative lighting systems available, ensure your security system has appropriate battery back-up, and find food and refreshments before the blackouts start.”

Sounds like we preparing for some apocalypse...hehehe :D
