EskomSePush's load-shedding data for 2021

I'd be interested to see stats on the number faults caused by loadshedding. In our area we had probably close to 200 hours of no electricity due to various loadshedding-related faults in 2021.

Came here to say this. Official loadshedding is one thing, unplanned outages, sabotage, breakdowns etc are another.

Surprisingly 2021 was the year we were switched off on time and brought back on time. We had one unexpected fault on Christmas eve morning. Other than that 2021 was only load shedding that took us out. 2020 on the other hand.

Thats cos you got all new equipment during 2020 when they replaced all the crap that broke due to LS :P

ESP is still my preferred choice.

I used another app, but in the end ESP won out.
Same here.

I even had two apps running at the same time for a while to compare. ESP was the more accurate re advance warnings and correct scheduled outages every single time.

AFAICR, the monkeypalities notify the different apps what their schedules are and they just relay the info as received, so how the other app could even get that so wrong I don't know.
