No it doesn't, hard-drive bought separately. All but the HD Mini and HD Mini 2 can use internal hard-drives but they don't come with one included.

Which I wouldn't expect anyway because all other players cost far more than these players. People at work who have bought these from me tell me they are better than the Mede8er, WD TV and EGrate (or some such). The guy who had the EGrate is also our technical architect, so he tested the player fairly thoroughly and only had 2 complaints: 1) The remote sometimes has reception issues 2) External hard-drives aren't powered off when you turn it off (internal does turn off tho). Other than that he said, it was better than the rest (which he also tested). Hence my buying so many :p people seem to love them.

Also the player needs to be updated, at least it did when I bought before... The newer GUI is much better.

He asked if the device comes with a stock HDD. I'm not sure either, but most likely it does not and you will have to purchase a separate drive.

No Media players that we sell come with HDD as a standard unless we sell them at Retail Chain stores
HDD have to purchased separately

@ d7e7r7 The External 2TB are the FreeCom drives that have just arrived today , but they are only available in Midrand but you can back order

True but can't do anything about it right now since everything in my house is usb 2.0 here and need 2 tb of space

Will be driving into the durban branch on thursday, hoping for some specials on AMD CPUs and Mobos. Graphics cards would also be great :D

Any chance you would consider putting together "upgrade" packages? Something like Mobo + CPU + RAM?

Just a minor gripe, I like it when you group items in categories as opposed to one mega long page of items.

But some nice prices.. Think I'll be seeing you guys pretty soon...
 
What is that Freecom 1TB USB drive that they're selling for R599?
And why is the 1TB ext HDD just below it going for R699.Shouldn't it be 1.5TB?

I think it makes more sense to get an internal drive (say the Seagate 1.5TB 6Gb/s for R449) and put it in an enclosure...

Hope to see some 2TB drives soon though...

@Esquire... nice birth date! The company shares it with my sister though with a 17 year difference. Still, 12 is about 300 in computer company years.
