Esquire and MyBB members-response

Why not open an account with them?

Because at the moment I can only buy stock as customers need it and my customer base is very small. So I'd probably only spend about R1500 a month, if that. I'ts just convieniant to buy using Mybb account at Esquire. I have never had to return a pieece of hardware before to any store because of any build mistakes.

It's easy enough to sign up with a cash account if you have a registered IT business.

Thats the problem. I only build PC's in my spare time. My main line is Satillite Dish Installations, but the PC's add a nice little extra to my income and Registering an IT business is just not an option with only a few clients and me being to busy with the Dish installations. If I won't be able to buy from Esquire it will mean having to buy from dealers.

I purchased stuff from their Cape Town branch on the 30th of last month, no problems.

Seems there is still a miss-communication somewhere. Spoke to Lienkie in the Boksburg branch and she still advises me that they don't sell to MyBB members. When I asked "Why?" she put me through to Nicky, who then told me that I have to be a registered MyBB member. I asked how they would validate that I am registered and she advised that it needs to be done through head office. I then again asked her "How?" and she back tracked and said that it is fine as long as I'm a registered MyBB member. :wtf:

Not sure whether I want to risk driving there just to be sent home with nothing... :(

And even though I sent a link to Esquire via pm, I have had no official response either in this thread or via return pm... :(

Hi All

Firstly we have not change the policy i.e. All MYBB members are still allowed to purchased from any Esquire branch and Esquire Xpress in Midrand , Cape Town and Boksburg using the account number MYB001 which is a special account that I created for all members of this forum

r we still able to buy from the durban branch?? As I noticed you left them out when listing the express stores!!!

interesting ... when I called in yesterday, the sales lady was adamant we are not allowed to ... and that only a select few people can, who have been approved by the directors ... so again I ask, r we allowed to buy from your durban express branch esquire??

Next time it happens, tell her to contact Mahomed Cassim, her Groups Sales Director in Johannesburg.
