do not have stock on retail packaged at the moment , busy negotiating deal , but cannot get a good price at moment , sold over 1000 oem BD drives so far with no issues.

New containers of media arriving end of July or 1st week August and have Blu-Ray discs inside ,in fact 500 spindles of 10packs

About bloody time BDR became more popular. Still got a long way to go before it's cheaper than hard-drives

is esquire still selling broken stuff and trying to blame the customer when they return demanding a refund or replacement? these tactics put me off them

cheap bastards, only way they survive is by undercutting good honest hardware shops. Sick stuff.

Never bought anything broken from them before though the bargain table items sometime look a bit dodge.

If that was the case I or Esquire would be not business for this long that grew from a two men operation to 200 staff countrywide with over 10 000 clients that buy from us every month,
Sure like every other distributor we do have policies and procedure in place, sure we do get returns like every other distributor and like every other distributor if an item is physically damaged we will never swop , but if it is genuine warranty and purchased within first 7 days we will swop out with new item

This has always been our policy and will always be policy

The Bargain Table like our FireSale stock is items that we get back from our suppliers as repaired stock which was swop out for client contrary to popular belief that we do not swop out, or if packaging is dirty and does not look good to be sold as new even the items is brand new
Those are sold off to clients that know what they want and know what actual price is and know that they getting a bargain it is very similar like the ones you see at Shoprite, PnP, in fact I got the ideas from these stores and it has worked as we get over 1000 people at our Firesales with people queuing up from midnight

EDIT: This reminds me to start working on the Big Tent FireSale sale soon

Yeah I knew that, assumed it was a given. You'll always get some shopper trying their luck, just be careful, with the CPA they might have a case.

Have checked and double checked with our legal team, if you make a client aware that the item(s) he purchased on a Bargain Bin or table or even at the FireSale and he is aware of what he is buying is a bargain and way below normal price , there is no issue.

This year we will make extra sure that this is properly communicated thoroughly every here in the Tent with signs,

BTW thanks for the heads up as I do not think we have signs in the Xpress Stores will ask my Operation Manager to check on that in the morning

I've never had warranty issues with them before. I had to take a graphics card on which the heatsinks got loose back. They fixed it, I double checked it to find one of the sinks still loose, at which they took it back without complaints and properly fixed it. It's still running today (more than a year later).
