Just got home after picking up a Logitech G105 keyboard from Esquire - Midrand only to find when I opened it that it's AZERTY layout instead of QWERTY despite being labelled US international on the box.

Just a word if the Esquire rep sees this, I either want a US layout keyboard or my CASH back not a credit note tomorrow when I return it.

There's a reason why I stopped buying from them and only bought this from them as Frontosa seems to no longer stock Logitech, they've just reminded me why I stopped buying from them.

G105 920-003462 which is stuck over Gaming Keyboard G105 920-003442, the US International layout is also a sticker, it isn't see through though.

920-003462 seems to be what it's suppose to be and 920-003442 is what it actually is.

This can only mean the products have been tampered with at some point...

I can't think of any reason why Esquire would do this intentionally. Those keyboards are generally more expensive here than the normal ones too.

I have just sent an email to Logitech to find out about this and await their answer in the morning

We have also sold 184 (including yours today) out of the 250 units since we started stocking them in June and this is the first one with an issue

I will ask my operations guy to check other units in the morning

Is the keyboard you got A French layout ?? as according to the research I just did AZERTY layout is used in France

Both the stocks codes you mention are both Qwerty Layouts please post a pic of that keyboard you got

Will post pics later.

Once again myBB turning into HelloPeter.

Nope.. If the product or service is poor take it up with the company. At least give them a chance to sort their **** out. It happens. If they ignore you and so forth then come cry.

+1, OP didn't even contact Esquire about the issue but came straight here to publicly moan.

You've clearly never tried to return or swap anything at Esquire

You never tried though? Surely the first thing you do is phone them up or go back and explain the situation. Then from there you can come moan. They may difficult at times but they are not unreasonable people who will blatantly ignore such an issue.

I have. Its a pain in the arse, but theyre not unfair about it.

The R150 "invoice reprint charge" just pisses me off tho.

Dude just back to esquire and they will fix the issue, posting pictures isn't going to magical change the keyboard into something you want :p
