Regretfully, our server (root account) was compromised two days after switching web hosting providers. We are still investigating how the attack happened.*
The majority of the Ether was moved to: https://etherscan.io/address/0xef9e06ee6c6adde29237e55a20e6743c92575ebe by the attacker.*
An attacker has moved most of the Ethereum on the website, but thankfully we have managed to recover a portion of it from low balance accounts.*
We will be announcing a user reimbursement plan soon.*

Brief Update
We plan to bring the website back up for reimbursements/withdraws by June 7th. Users will be issued separate tokens according to their previous balance based on a pool comprised of recovered tokens. We will raise additional funds to cover the remaining losses through the website's profits.*
Following this event, we will change the implementation of our wallet to a client-sided model so this can't happen again.*
Thank you for your patience.

Nooooooo, I haven't transferred my Eth out yet! I seriously hope all isn't lost

LMFAO

Why would you ever use a web wallet...
It's Thor's fault

Actually, I was going to move it (had it in my mental to do list for today), but haven't had the time. Far out, never pulling a stunt like that again.

Same reason I do not like coinbase they where hacked as well not to long ago.

Jaxx at the moment is a good compromise, if you do not want a hardware wallet or mist.

What multi-coin hardware wallets do you use? I get that Mist might be a good option for Eth, but the other coins you (might be) mining? Or do you just use online-type wallets for those?

So if you had any eth stored there, you're screwed until the 7th of June, and then you won't necessarily get all your eth back?

Seems so, but now I'm hearing that the creator could actually have been a scammer himself who created a functional wallet system and was waiting for some big fish before pouncing... Dunno how true that is though. I've got a hell of a lot of Eth (in my terms anyway - I'm definitely not one of the big fish, not by a long shot) in there after I sold my BTC and was planning to move it. Didn't like what I saw when looking at Jaxx (just felt it's inadequate) so held on for a bit. Got sick, was no longer "lus" for the schlep and so planned to look at moving it out today or tomorrow. Seems I'm too late.

Have any of you heard of or use Exodus?

I use it. Haven't had any issues, although haven't used it for long. Private keys are kept local, and there's good backup procedures. Does the job, I guess.
