I'll be surprised if there is no OpenSource Linux project for the JasJar.

Have you looked around? You can also ask Buzz from buzznet.dev

Yes, there is, investigated a few weeks back as per your recommendation, but I will wait a bit - besides I'm fairly confident that Skype's Pocket PC s/w will not run in Linux, basically I'm not brave enough to completely kill Bill [yet] :).

When last did you emerge --sync ? :)

Those look like old portage errors - do an

emerge --sync && emerge portage
you should be on portage 2.1.1-r1...i think

Yes, there is, investigated a few weeks back as per your recommendation, but I will wait a bit - besides I'm fairly confident that Skype's Pocket PC s/w will not run in Linux, basically I'm not brave enough to *snip*

Portage is up to date, but emerge --sync still running [started just before my previous post :D], will try again when it has finished :).

Still masked by ~amd64, will see what happens after I've overriden that in /etc/portage/package.keywords & retry emerge...
