Ethernet Thermometer

The client I am contracted to uses Netbotz as well. The unit has a 3G modem in it for sending alerts, etc.
 
Yikes 68 is alot. You can nearly bring your uncooked meat and cook it inside the server room....
 
You could always build one?

A netduino connected to a thermistor for sensoring, connected to a computer via USB, en sending sms's via BulkSMS.

Should be a fun project.
 
I prefer email. These days you still get that slight chance of a sms not always going through. but in any case I found some cheap little usb thermometers that use the internet. Well $39 for 4 is pretty cheap I think. 2 Year warranty and Guarantee on them and they look solid enough.
