Eugene Terre'blanche murdered

LancelotSA where did you get that amazing pair of Rose tinted glasses?

Please point out the posts that show my rose tinted glasses. Do you draw that conclusion based on the fact that I do not immediately get caught up in the mass hysteria and want to run out onto the street and kill the first black man I see?

I initially made a comment about everyone rather waiting for the news to filter through rather than speculate. Not sure why that would be an optimists view? I then questioned some vague references to farm murders increasing after Malema's song and asked the person to point me in the direction of some stats showing this. Surely this would be expected before taking to heart what someone else says?

Was it? So even if it was, Julius said they could so they did.
Wonder how you would feel if it was your family member.
Hell, the ANC have sanctioned it so it is all good.

You're being a little silly now. Do you really think it would make a difference to me, or anyone else here, whether our loved one was killed as a result of a wage dispute or for political reasons? Did you hear his daughter earlier immediately stating it was Malema's fault? I didn't!

I was just thinking the same thing. It would be interesting to compare the behaviour of the people at the Jub Jub court case to the pending one. I heard the suspects will appear in court on Tuesday

Just had this conversation with my fiance', she said the same thing, I disagree, sometimes in life, war IS necessary.
Maybe it is or was something we needed. Look at the bloody mess we are in.

Nah mate - only the dead see the end of war ( not Plato but the Spanish philosopher George Santayana who stated it).

War is evil - and should never happen.

No offense intended , but it is the stupidity of mankind that allows hate and war , amongst others , to take place .

Well what is the answer?
Clearly talking and trying to do things in a nice way doesnt work.
People take kindness for weakness, it seems.

Well I'm off to watch some TV and will let those who have been craving an incident like this to spark their enthusiasm for a full blown war in this country to have their fun.

I'm talking about a majority of your posts on SA affairs, I find it freaking amazing that you can't see whats wrong with this country

honestly I don't know - but hey if you feel retribution is going to help go for it. If you feel going out to seek revenge in a violent manner go for it.

I cannot see how taking one life in return for another is justified.

But to each his own.

So what happens now.
1. They get a reduced sentence with mysterious funds pooring into to their bank account.
2. They go to jail with their new found fame, get recruited to a gang and become hardened criminals.
3. They get released and start killing more innocent puppies.

As a neutral party, you are known for 'always looking at the bright side of life'. Doomers and Gloomers find that offensive.

Just my 2c worth ( which isn't worth a lot these days ).

In my experience it is better to rather focus on what is being said in a specific thread rather than carry your preconceived ideas of someone into it and read things between the lines. My assumption was that the post I responded to was referring to this thread in particular. If it was not then it was off topic and perhaps the poster should have started his own thread to discuss his opinions of me.
