Those 4 assists are for England, not for Liverpool. Which actually goes to show why he was chosen mebbe?

i agree with that percentage. portugal and holland are both weaker teams but both can beat germany on a good day.

I peg Germany to go all the way to lift the Trophy. They are a group of talented players and played together for a long time and understand each other very well. Portugal, going to rely too much on Ronaldo and Nani. Germany vs Holland should be the Final, hopefully it will be a cracker of a game.

WRT, to the England squad. I am a England supporter and I guess it's the same like the Springbok squad. You got players who performed well in the season, but get overlooked for certain reasons. Guess the coach gets paid the big bucks to make informed decisions and there must be a reason he makes those decisions. We won't always agree, but this is me hoping the Liverpool players actually step up to plate and and prove all the skeptics wrong.

Portugal have never really relied on ronaldo in the past. he hardly ever performs for portugal.
 
i most definately do...
he performs 5x better at club level then at international level.

go to wiki and look how many games he has played for portugal and how many goals he has scored. then compare that to club level.
30 goals for international isnt bad but not to his standards.
yes he is the best player portugal has but no, portugal do not rely on him. portugal have won many games without him scoring.

Lets compare it to Robben:

I dunno if his doing so bad, his goal average is way ahead of the other players in his position...
Lets not forget his not in a team of superstars like Netherlands, Germany, Argentina, etc
Last note he seems to make himself available for all the matches for Portugal
