Jees, I would've thought UKIP would have done better.
Clearly the smear merchants did a good job.
It's an interesting vote, the parties leading in the Euro election aren't able to replicate the results in UK elections. People still vote for the main parties there
You can almost view UKIP as controlled opposition for the Brexit Party in the same way the EFF is controlled opposition for the ANC.Brexit Party is basically UKIP but a more professional operation. Parties that were clear on Brexit won (whatever side).
Incorrect. Both parties with clear message in Brexit won this. So about 37-38% each for hard brexit and remain. So is this election a kind of Referendum on Brexit again?
Clearly the British people want a Brexit based on these numbers.
Incorrect. Both parties with clear message in Brexit won this. So about 37-38% each for hard brexit and remain.
The remaining 20+ odd percent were confused.
Corbyn , after this drubbing has come out with a clearer message than in the last 3 years. A deal on brexit and/or a referendum. No hard brexit
Who? Corbyn? What he means is no "no deal" Brexit. May's deal was hard Brexit, and it's only rabid no deal leavers who painted it as "soft Brexit". Soft Brexit would mean EFTA+EEA/single market.
Brexit Party is just the latest vehicle for fish-faced conman Farage after he shed his UKIP vehicle.Brexit Party is basically UKIP but a more professional operation. Parties that were clear on Brexit won (whatever side).
Fish-faced conman Farage is the most successful politician the UK has had in the past 10 years.Brexit Party is just the latest vehicle for fish-faced conman Farage after he shed his UKIP vehicle.
Who? Corbyn?
A "hard" brexit is a no deal brexit. So wto rulesYes. But the point is that he wants a "hard" Brexit as much as most of the Conservatives. He just doesn't want to crash out without a proper withdrawal agreement.
Judging by twittards, the remainers won 100% remain vote in a second refWho won?
The Brexit party has claimed mandate, without the majority. People are getting upset when that's actually mentioned to them.Judging by twittards, the remainers won 100% remain vote in a second ref![]()
