After months (probably years) of waiting I finally have a trench and a fibre conduit in front of my house! To say I'm excited is probably an understatement.

I have to give Evotel credit for how they've been handling this roll-out. I know trenching is inherently messy, but well done on keeping the community informed and adressing issues!

@EvotelZA and @AfriNatic can't wait to have my 1gb line active! - The wait is probably going to feel longer than the previous months. :D

Great stuff. Will you guys go futher down Kremetart St, over the low water bridge to GeelhoutPark ?

Lucky. I drive past these trenches every day and hope to also have a mess infront of my gate in the near future.

Hi there! Our build is being rolled out in phases. We will be heading in that direction, but the municipality is being very strict regarding us working in too many areas at once. Geelhoutpark will be added in at a later stage. Don't worry. We're on our way!
 
Hi, I would love to know what the approximate or planned time is for fibre rollout in Santolina ave, Geelhoutpark. We've been begging for fibre for years and we are seeing people getting fibre 500m away from us and it's teasing us lol.

Hi there! Geelhoutpark is not a part of the current rollout. However, moving forward it will very likely be added to our network.

@AfriNatic can receive the Gold Star Employee of the Year award in my book!! He helped me get PureDSL at my new house when all other providers said there is no coverage. From placing the order, to get installed and connected and surfing and downloading the web, was done all in less than a week!! I am happy surfer and downloader!! He is willing to walk the extra mile for every customer. When Fiber becomes available - I will use no other provider than Afrihost!!
 
Nothing is happening after almost more than a year. Saw the ad from evotel mentioning welcome fiber. Seems like it will take forever as there is no signs.

Most of the build was completed earlier this year.

Which area in rustenburg do you reside in?
