This particular round of push back (there have been a few) ends on Feb 28th 2021

If the push back is sufficient, then it will require further attempts to undermine SA consitutional protections, before it is a cert that you have lost your to right to own any property(and that doesn't mean just land, it means ALL property i.e. anything you own. As per Section 25).

Govt doesnt listen to "comments"

They listen to violence.
The title 'Gov invites you to comment' is a little misleading.

The government would far rather you found some excuse not to comment.

Not that what you say isn't true.

Just give them unfettered power already. The sooner we get to Zim 2.0 the sooner the message that this will not work will get through those numbskull brains.

I get the sentiment. And I can hardly blame you for feeling that way.

Although nobody knows how long Zim will continue to deteriorate. Everyone assumed it would experience a rapid recovery after the departure of RM. Not so, it seems.

Perhaps it would be better to create safe havens, in (preferably) more than one part of the country, by seceding to them e.g. the Cape.

At least then you have options (somewhere to go), when people don't learn lessons and insist on destroying every last resource at their disposal.

Civil war before it's too late. Might just be the only option.

If this is implemented I wonder what effect is will have on the Rand and markets.

The government is trying to put glitter on a turd and sell it to the international community as "lawful" I wonder if the world will buy what the ANC is selling. Bottom line is it is government sanctioned stealing wrapped up in a bow.

Btw, I don't think many people realise the extent to which dearSouthAfrica has become a thorn in the side of the SA government.

Personally, I'm not one for petitions. I tend to roll my eyes at them because they are a dime a dozen and they just seem so ineffectual.

Then I found out that the approach taken by dearsouthafrica, is quite different.

They don't do petitions.

They take your comment and format it as a letter. They then print the letter, physically. And deliver all the letters physically, in boxes, to the government dept. (At least they did this in one instance that I know of.)

A letter is different from a signature on a petition. The government is required to consider each letter. It cannot treat it the same as a petition. Besides there is the factor of all those boxes that are a very visible form of evidence of opposition.

If someone knows more - or better - please chime in.

p.s. I suspect - although don't know for sure - that the reason for the internal disruption within dearsa recently, may just have something to do with their legal LD challenge, which the government moved to delay.... soon after the international organization 'Panda'(Pandemics Data Analysis) registered as a 'friend of the court', which is apparently an advisory role, in the same case.

Bottom line: if a picture paints a thousand words, a comment paints a separate picture the government must look at/consider individually. Even if it does nothing other than help to delay the inevitable, I think that time is precious, in terms of potential contingency.

On the other hand, EWC may just result in the wake-up call independence movements are looking for.

It will tank both. What is left of investor confidence will be wiped out.

EWC is basically playing Russian roulette with every chamber loaded. Guaranteed to blow the country's brains out when they pull the trigger.

Mmmm did'nt Dingaan also invite a few people one day for a party and some comments.

If we know one thing (E-TOLL) they dont listen even if most of the people say NO
What happened with that? I thought dear SA helped to bring the government to their knees on that particular issue.

Certainly seems that way :cautious:

What this tells us is that the ANC is willing to do anything to stay in power, whether it wrecks the country or not. Power at all costs.

Given his status as a MK veteran...

Hard to feel any sympathy for a traitor who was sleeping with the enemy or maybe he was just feeding the crocodile in the hope that it would eat him last.

Look back to the destruction of a thriving pig farm by Comrade Thandi Modise and then look forwards to the destruction of any thriving wine farm that she might decide to grab.

Multiply that by thousands of greedy comrades grabbing whatever they want and then look at the resulting humanitarian crisis in Zimbabwe.

Just a part of CR's plan to slowly boil the white frog.

Don't forget that MK Vet who may start to shave in 16 years. If we can just for now get him out of his huggies and not kak in it ... the struggle runs in the genes jeans nappy.
