I see Graeme Smith is becoming a dad once again and this led me to my question.

Morgan delivered the first-born in July 2012, I see now Smith posted on Twitter that they had a 3 month scan done now. If this is true it means conception took place around October last year.

That means she only had two/three months to recover.

Isn't that a bit too short? What do the MyBB experts say?

Does he wipe his balls on his tshirt before he engages?

There are many siblings who are only 1 year apart so it's quite common.

Yeah I know, but chances are this one will be exactly (well give or take) a year younger. It might even be less. Just wondering how much strain this puts on the female body and reproductive system as a whole.

edit: also, if one sibling is 20 months older than the other we'll just say they're a year apart. Which technically is much different from the scenario above.

Blu and shaun debated this recently. Blu had babies and Shaun is gay so i'm not sure who won.

it happens...

The period right after the birth is the easiest time to get pregnant. People forget that and don't go back on the pill soon enough.

My 3 cousins are all less than a year apart.

Giving birth takes a lot out of the womans body. The mothers body is designed to give the baby what it needs even at cost to the mother. Hence I don't advise a break that short, especially if the delivery was by C section. Its generally not an issue if nutrition is good but I know of at least one woman who had 6 babies in as many years who suffers severe health and mental issues as a result of not only the pregnancies but also the demands of raising young kids while being constantly pregnant. Not a wise decision in my eyes. I know that with my wife we went for at least a 18m to 2.5 year gap and it felt about right. Second pregnancy was much much harder as now you have a kid to run after and carry around while the other bun is in the oven.

When we had our first the doctor warned us to either take it easy or use contraceptives since it seems that woman are very fertile (for lack of a better word) for the first couple of months after the birth. Whether this is true or not I do not know, but I have heard of a few people who had a second one coming while the first was still on formula.

After a baby comes out, all the other babies in the womb also want to come out. There's been cases of a baby coming out a couple of months after the first.

We didn't have a winner :D

My view was that such a short time span between births was bound to have an effect on the woman's body. And in the circles I roam in a year between births is generally frowned on.

I can't imagine the fatigue this woman must have after such a short break in between babies. We had 9 months between conceiving our first and our second and it was still a pretty rough time in the beginning. I think physically mrsc's body only started to recover recently - then she managed to get knocked up a third time so it's all gone to pot again :D

They probably have 3nannies working shifts, so she can go to gym and shop etc.

Pregnancy is very hard on a woman's body...and besides that, raising one baby is hard enough, nevermind 2 babies that have different needs ( unlike twins which have the same needs at the same time). However, I can't really have an opinion on this..I waited 6 years before I felt I was ready for another pregnancy..and then quickly had myself sterilized after :p
Ps: I didn't enjoy being pregnant at all. All that glowing happiness eluded me and I felt sick, tired and spent too much time with my head in the loo.

abzo's on form today )

My wife was born 10.5 months after her older sibling. That means that conception took place on the first ovulation cycle after birth.

Anyway, they advise you to abstain for 6 weeks after birth. It takes that long for the goods inside to heal up to something resembling normal.

If she gave birth naturally, she will find the second pregnancy goes much smoother. Well the labour part at least. If it was C-section, then asking your uterus to work that hard so soon after a major op is like asking an athlete to take part in a major sporting event 2 months after major ACL surgery or something. Not a good idea.
