This is such a simple problem yet I can't find a fix for it.

At the top of the excel worksheet there are 8 tabs:

home
insert
page layout
formulas
data
review
view
menu

However I only have 7, I'm missing the last tab (menu) and have no idea how to get it back.

I took up a stats course at Varsity and I'm finding myself using excel A LOT

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Thanks

I'm guessing you have excel 2010?

if so press the Microsoft logo in the top left, then go to excel options, on the left of the menu that comes up you will see a button saying "Customize Ribbon" l click that. there will be a drop down menu at the top right click that and I think there will be an option called tabs. once that's clicked you will see all the tabs and mostly likely the one that you are missing will be unticked

I have excel 2007 but the rest of the computers in the house have 2010, I checked them and they don't have a "menu" tab either.

Then I looked at the pic I was referring to...

... and what do you know, the pic is actually from CNET and it's a download to include the classic (2003) menu bar.
