I found an excellent internet quality testing tool

In addition to testing throughput, it also tests the latency as well as the latency under download and upload loads (bufferbloat)

Probably the best way to establish to "quality" of the internet connection's consistency and responsiveness.

@Jan , time to update your speedtest utility to sort out the ok from the excellent providers.

On supersonic LTE with an edge router and SQM enabled + some other settings. Router is actually important fixing bufferbloat.

The quickest route to fixing bufferbloat is buying a router with a fast CPU and a great Smart Queue Management implementation.

Thanks I normally use the dslreports.com test for bufferbloat, but Ill play around with this.

I prefer this over DSL reports, as they have some local testing servers.

Regarding the Router's role, I think this is something @Jan can run a piece on, as many routers have a Smart Queues feature that will greatly improve people's Internet experience with equipment they already have.

On top of that, once the router is correctly configured, different LTE services can be better compared

ISP?

Scored an F using RAIN. Checked the router and don't see any SQM features. Bah humbug.

Interworks on Openserve fibre. Using mikrotik CCR with SFQ rule set to about 95% of line speed.
Thanks for the tip!

Did now the same for the office Mikrotik. Now getting A+ across the board. Will see if anyone notices improvements in Zoom calls tomorrow
