This may help other amateur traders or financial risk adverse adventures.

So I like to trade, but I also like to keep at least 40% of my capital in Fiat on the exchange. Currently I put a portion of that into funding. Sort of like passive income. I get about 2-3%/Month on Bitfinex. You offer your money to the exchange for people to trade with. This is at a set % and time period. The exchange will liquidate the trader if their balance is within 15% of your capital value. So short of the entire market falling to pieces, it has a lower risk.

Can anyone recommend other exchanges, Crypto or otherwise that offer this?

poloniex.com offers lending, but obviously only in crypto.

That is risky,

Yes. Sorry I should clarify. It's not a good idea to keep your money/crypto on an exchange, and please don't construe this as financial advice. I'm purely asking if anyone has any knowledge of other exchanges that offer this type of service with respectable (/honest) returns.

Since I do have the luxury of keeping my money on the exchange, and being an active trader I prefer to have it earning something. Maybe someone has similar circumstances. Then this thread is of use.

So in the context of crypto trading risk, lending your money with a 15% liquidation buffer is (/seems) less risky than putting it into crypto directly.

This is not related to any persons belief in any particular currency increasing in value i.e. hodling. This is related to trading and interest on fiat without active involvement.

@Thor: I am hodling by the way, thanks :)
