Exchange only supports...

Well my exchange only supports 512kb/s.

How or when will Telkom upgrade this.

I took the 384kb option, was afraid if it only can do 512kb/s, I wont be able to use my 512kb/s to the full potencial?
Any info...

Its probably not the exchange itself but your line/distance to the exchange. Not much chance of getting it upgraded anytime soon. Stay on 384k, its being upgraded to 512k soon anyway IIRC.

I'm 3 km from the exchange and it only supports 512kb/s.

On the other premises my home is 6.5km from the exchange and supports 4meg.

When will 384kb/s go upto 512kb/s?

It depeonds on the quality of your line etc, not just distance. Not sure when, nothing's been announced officially yet but it is happening apparently.
