exhaust free flow + chip worth it?

What about dyno tuning, can one dyno a 320d ?

Its pretty cheap but is it worth it ?
 
LOL...lmao! Dyno tuning is only used to FINE TUNE modifications after they've been installed. So if you haven't installed any mods, you can' t really dyno the car, or you can , but why?
 
Revo claim the following on the 2.0T FSI :- Stock 200bhp; Stage1 (no mods) +55bhp; St 2 (air cleaner, decat) +60bhp; St2+ +70bhp (mods); St3 350bhp (major mods) St3+ 400bhp (MAJOR mods).

Like Alfa said, dyno is done before and after you do some modifications to your car.

I've got an '05 320d e46 and have been investigating a minor mod as well and it can be done with some great results.

A software remapping should get the 320d another 21kw and alot more torque as well.

I'm still speaking to friends and people in the know and finding a reputable place that also won't rip me off.

So Stage 2 - with just the ECU - is going to give you 27% more power? I wonder how that effects reliabily ...

Stage 3 - which I assume is the ECU plus the extra mentioned - only gives 5hp more than stage 2?
 
One thing I cannot understand is...where are ALL the guys who DO stage 2 and 3 and 4...where are they to tell us how reliable it is? My uncle did complete S3 conversion on G5, broke 2 G5 GTi clutches, swithed to better clutch, but was hard as nails. THen had S3 pushing out 280kw last year...NO probs whatsoever, he has allhis work done by preggie, the guy dirves from durbs to preggie just for the mods...all in all 60k spent on S3 alone to get to 280kw with water/meth 102 cotane for race...and its a daily!
