Existing ADSL Line to VDSL Line - Conversion times?

ic you're getting a similar International speed to me.

Is that right?
I was expecting a similar or at least close to my Local speeds for international, not less than half.

It is right, you will never get the same speeds on international as you do on local as it is a longer route, might be different if you have a big as satellite receiver in your backyard though :)

From what I can tell, it's really all about contention ratios... If you're on a 1:1 fibre connection, you're going to get 100% of the stated local speeds but international will still be a bit slower as the route is longer and runs under sea and from here to there to everwhere?

2.4Line Rate (Down / Up)20480 kbps / 2048 kbps
2.5Noise Margin (Down / Up)17.5 dB / 24.4 dB
2.6Attenuation (Down / Up)27.8 dB / 56.7 dB
2.7Power (Down / Up)11.8 dBm / 6.3 dBm

I think that is a good connection? I am using a 40Gig VOX trial account at the moment, might be why :)
Yeah, looks perfect.

Possibly just Vox, JHB still seems fine so must be their CT IPC?

It might just be down to the area that I am in being between PE and EL so it's a fair distance to travel. Will check and see with another account when I have a gap, back to work though :)

Thank you x infinity!

What do your local and international speedtests look like?
I'll post tonight when I get home, think the account I was using is capped now :P

Can't access pfsense or team viewer.

Local I was getting 19mbit down on VDSL and 2mbit up on the dot I managed.
ADSL 2+ I got 18.xx mbit down and 0.8 or 0.9mbit up.
