All good and well getting the workaround functioning and downloading the game when the EU servers are borked :(
 
Anyone playing that can confirm what kind of prices they are seeing in the ingame store? For some reason, 180 day Crystalline Aura shows as $801 dollars for me! Don't wanna fiddle with VPNs right now because prime time, but people in zone chat say it's nowhere near that crazy.

Hmm I wonder why it's so janky. And I am certainly not gonna change from ZAR on my Steam account :D Ah well, looks like it's gonna stay F2P for me until our region becomes unlocked.

What other regions have been locked? If EU's not open for SA I worry it will never be.

All of those values are in Rands. I presume because the game is not released here there is no "R" in the game code. I can confirm this as I bought the 30-days Crystalline Aura Pack and was charged R160 through Steam. You add the funds to your steam account as normal and confirm it there so no risk of being charged in $.

Cool. In other news started on NA East a temp to play without the 10027.
 
Awesome, good to know about it being a display error but already converted to Rand :D
 
Got to laugh at the irony of the situation. I'm using a buttton presser to stay logged in to EU to be able to play in a bit. Back in wow days we just placed a glass beer bottle on w/up arrow.

Doesn't this lock you into UK pricing for the next 3 months till you can switch back to SA?
 
I got lost ark working

1. Signed up for privado VPN its free.
2. Set it to the uk.
3. open steam store and add a game to cart.
4. click the drop down menu and change to the uk store.
5. search "lost ark" and download. (You can remove game from the cart).
6. disconnect VPN which changes everything back to SA store and let it download (you dont need to be connected to the vpn)
7. play as normal
