Have you got a price yet? Looks like it costs $$$...

I saw an audi a4 convertible with matt black one day. Probably the only matt black car I've seen in SA.

and what does it cost??

I saw my first matt black in an A4 convertible too - was at Newlands.

Price is around R11,000. Which isn't bad considering what it'll cost to respray an entire car.

You got the clutch fixed yet?

Yip - and done the 800km break-in.

I have the same issue with people who put on car seat covers:

What's the point in hiding the original seats or paint? You will never get to enjoy looking at them and then you sell it in perfect condition but the resale value is similar to a car with 'used' seats or paint. Why?

I'm not doing it to protect the paint, I'm doing it instead of respraying, a bonus is that the original colour is still intact.

I bought this car as a hobby car, hence the various modifications.
