According to the BerryPi's of the world, the guy screeching Allah Akbar at people mourning the victims of an attack by an Islamist person clearly isn't a True Muslim either.

Its easier to distance yourself from the problem than to actually act up and do something about it. If you sweep the problem under the carpet, what problem? This seems to be the islam aproach to their own members causing havok accross the world.

To be fair, distancing yourself (and your group) from the problem isn't entirely unique to the religion of peace.

Not even unique to religion either. People take collective credit for the positives and are quick to grumble at generalisations for negative associations.

At least that's got an evolutionary survival mechanism backing it up.
The west has taken this to a whole new level. Loads of westerners, including the establishment, are distancing islam (never mind muslims) from all of these happenings. Even justifying these things by redirecting blame onto their own group. Idiots.

By your metric, muslims are the real idiots then.

I, on the other hand, think the real idiots are people who are the most allergic to the truth. I'm not sure which civilization is the biggest idiot, but islam and the west are both definitely in the running.

I'll give you a clue, it's the one I mentioned that's NOT islam.
