secondly, putting an ENTIRE religion on trial for those who interpret their violent version as a legitimate statement? How does that even make sense?

I love how you folk are experts on the subject matter. I know im not. But spreading misinformation does more harm to society than actually help fix it.

Makes sense because Mohammeds interpretation is what matters most, his interpretation was conquest and subjugation, and slavery, and mass murder, and he is supposed to be emulated, and they all think the sun shone out of his arse.

Hows about quoting from the bible.. im sure you will find some nice juicy highlights to show how Peaceful Christianity is.... then again... i know Christianity doesnt preach violence - i cant same the same for you. SO do explain anders brevik? he said he is a strong practicing christian... oooohhh!!! what to do now? he was following the bible after all....

Yeah the Druze, Assyrians, Christian, Alawi, Shia and Kurds all fight for their country while terrorists flee in panic towards Europe.
Some Sunni tribes have realized the true path to a better Syria lately.

The Christian world doesn't go blue in the mouth defending someone like Brevik. It is almost as if they are actually secure in their faith, they can just accept that their religion had a role in creating a terrorist.

Did you read his manifesto? I read about half of it and then I got bored (lots of history). He didn't say he was a "strong practicing Christian". He said he was a cultural Christian. That's someone who doesn't believe in, or give a fk about Christianity (clever person), but recognizes that self identifying as one and partaking in some of the rituals can show solidarity with other people of his culture, and that not doing so could be viewed as subversive to a large section of his society and their traditions. It's based on pragmatism and loyalty.

Personally, I disagree with "cultural" Christians. Fk Christianity, its stupid values got us into this mess, and it has no place in the modern world, certainly not in the RIGHT wing, where it is basically antithetical and a disability.
