Hi guys,
anybody with connections at MTN please help with some info, or any user on this package with experience?
I've been told by an MTN store that if u have an Extended Data 150 package the unused data get carried over another month... like the minutes on talk packages.
According to the MTN website unsused data is forfeited, like we all know happens with data bundles.
The dude at MTN store says, in their training from MTN, this new Extended data package, they were told unused data IS carried over.
I called MTN 1555 and the dude says "no carry over"
So who is bullsh1tting who?
It is rather important whether the friggin unused data is carried over or not.
The Extended data 150 gives 150Mb for R150... but for R50 more u can get the 350Mb package. I have a user who usually uses less than 150Mb, but sometimes a bit more, so 150Mb should be fine, and might get some carried over.
If not, the 350Mb package with inevitable forfeited (paid for  ) data is better.
Any suggestions from somebody who does know wtf is goin on?

duh... the dude from MTN store has confirmed with MTN higher up now that, now, carry over does not happen (yet), still WIP.....
So we keep waiting for that... so guess 350Mb bundle still better option if user may sometimes go over 150Mbs

Hi
I can confirm that there is no carry over on the Extended Data 150MB package. The person you spoke to maybe confused.
If you use up all your 150MB then the out bundle rate of R 1.50 will apply for the remaining days left until your next monthly allocation of 150 MB. If you dont use all of the 150MB before the new monthly allocation, it gets forfeited.
Hope this helps.
Regards
DD
